Who I Am
I make a living (such as it is) selling my voice. I've been in radio studios, on theatre stages, and in front of TV cameras, and have always managed to leave before security arrived. I've done voicework and commercial copy writing for advertising agencies and radio stations throughout the Northeast, and my voice can be heard on commercials all over the Eastern U.S., from Maine to Florida. Not bad for a kid who grew up in the little town of Weare, NH, writing skits and recording them - voices, sound effects, and all - onto his dad's Panasonic cassette deck. (This is the point at which you exclaim aloud, 'What a GEEK!' ) Anyway, from such humble beginnings I eventually went on to become, at various times: an actor, air personality, copy writer, news reporter, music director, production manager, program director, traffic director, and sales weasel...and through it all, I have yet to figure out how to make a living doing any of this. Along the way, I've found myself in front of a few cameras - but I much prefer the studio atmosphere of voiceacting.
